PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY; THIS IS A BINDING CONTRACT.

This Registrant Terms of Use Agreement (the "RTOU"), in conjunction with the HotNewz.tv Terms and Conditions, describes the terms and conditions applicable to your access and use of registration-only areas of the HotNewz.tv Website and services (collectively, the "Website"). In the event you register for use of the registration-only areas, your use of the Website is governed by both this RTOU and the HotNewz.tv Terms and Conditions. HotNewz.tv may amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended RTOU on our Website, and you agree that you will be bound by any changes to the RTOU. For your convenience, the date of last revision is included at the top of this page. HotNewz.tv may make changes to the Website and/or the services described on the Website at any time. You understand that HotNewz.tv may discontinue or restrict your use of the Website for any reason or no reason with or without notice.

Registration

In order to register for the registration-only areas of the Website, you must provide certain information about yourself. You acknowledge and agree that you will provide true, accurate, complete, and correct information at registration, and that you will promptly update your registration information should it change. You represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract. You will select a user name and password at registration; you are responsible for ensuring that your password remains confidential, and you agree that you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your user name. You agree to notify HotNewz.tv immediately in the event of unauthorized use of your password or account, or of any other breach of security relating to your account. HotNewz.tv is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account as provided herein.

You acknowledge, consent, and agree that HotNewz.tv may access, preserve, and disclose your account information and any User Content you submit or make available for inclusion on the Website, if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access, preservation, or disclosure is reasonably necessary for any of the following reasons: (1) to comply with legal process; (2) to enforce this RTOU or the HotNewz.tv Terms and Conditions; (3) to respond to claims that any User Content violates the rights of third parties; (4) to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of HotNewz.tv, its users, and the public; or (5) to respond to your requests for customer service.

User Content

The Website enables its registered users to post, upload, or otherwise make available through the Website (collectively, "post") content, including without limitation public messages, comments, and audio/video content (hereinafter, "User Content") that may be viewable by other Website users. In some cases, users may also provide or transmit User Content by other means, such as by postal mail, to HotNewz.tv for use on the Website. You acknowledge and agree that all information, data, text, audio/video content, or other materials, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom the User Content originated. When you submit User Content for publication by HotNewz.tv, you grant HotNewz.tv a world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and sublicenseable license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, edit, adapt, publicly perform, publicly display, translate, create derivative works from, and publish such User Content, in whole or in part, in any format or medium now known or developed in the future. You grant HotNewz.tv the right to use the name that you submit in connection with User Content. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all rights to any content you submit to HotNewz.tv. You agree that you will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HotNewz.tv for all claims resulting from content you supply. HotNewz.tv does not guarantee that User Content you post or otherwise provide will be published anywhere on the HotNewz.tv Website. You acknowledge that HotNewz.tv does not verify, adopt, ratify, or sanction User Content, and you agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, your use of User Content or your reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of User Content.

Posting and other provision of User Content and use of the Website is subject to the following rules of conduct:

1. You agree not to post or otherwise provide User Content that harasses, abuses, or threatens any other person, or that contains obscene content. You may not post User Content that degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual preference, disability or other classification. You agree not to post User Content that is unlawful, harmful, tortious, defamatory, libelous, or invasive of another"s privacy.
2. You agree not to post or otherwise provide any other party"s intellectual property unless you have the right to do so, whether through an assignment of rights, use waiver, license, fair use exception, or under generally accepted news practices. You agree not to post any trade secrets or other confidential or proprietary information, or to post any material that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships, including but not limited to inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements.
3. You agree not to falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity, or impersonate any person or entity in a manner that does not constitute parody. You agree not to, through misrepresentation or otherwise, solicit personal or sensitive information from other users such as address, credit card or financial account information, or passwords.
4. You agree not to post spam or other advertisements or solicitations, promote commercial entities, or otherwise engage in commercial activity on the Website.

Privacy Policy

By agreeing to these Registrant Terms of Use, you acknowledge that HotNewz.tv may collect, use and disclose your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
