A deal by GM to sell its struggling Saab division fell through. Now the company is shutting down production and closing 1,100 Saab dealerships. The move will eliminate over 3,000 jobs in Sweden.
President Obama says the U.S. and Russia are close to an agreement on a new nuclear arms reduction pact. Mr. Obama met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev during the UN climate talks in Copenhagen. The two super powers want to replace 1991’s Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.
Are you of legal drinking age? A new study says dark liquors, like whiskey and rum may cause bigger hangovers than light liquors. Darker spirits contain more congeners which are toxic substances formed during fermentation. The congeners coupled with the alcohol are what result in next day headaches.
