Security Shift

Facebook is drawing praise and pans for its new privacy settings. Here’s the breakdown: your name, gender, city, networks and fan pages are visible to everyone now. And if your friend adds an app, your profile info is available to the developers too! On the other side, you can now create custom lists allowing your friends different levels of access to your profile.

BoA Payday

Bank of America is free and clear of government debt! The company paid back the $45 billion in bailout money it was given over the last year. Since its debt has been settled, the bank will no longer be subject to certain government regulations and most notably will not have to answer to Obama pay czar Kenneth Feinberg.

Bi-Partisan Energy

Senators John Kerry (D), Joseph Lieberman (I) and Lindsey Graham (R) have reached an agreement on climate control. They’re proposing legislation that would cut U.S. emissions by 17%. The Senators say the bill will create jobs and energy-independence.

What Pretty Lights!

Was it a UFO spotted above Norway? A mysterious blue light emerged early in the morning, leaving some wondering what it could have been. The Russian military confirmed they were testing a missile, but said the launch has no connection to the mysterious light.
