Is there a Cyber Cold War brewing? According to a new security report released by McAfee, there could be. Experts say countries like the U.S., China, Russia, France and Israel have each been quietly gathering intelligence and building cyber attack infrastructures in order to use the Internet as a means of warfare.
The AFL-CIO has an idea for President Obama: use money from the $700 billion Wall Street bailout fund to stimulate job growth. The union says the government should invest in small businesses, enabling business owners to create more jobs. AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka will present his 5-point plan to the President at a job summit in December.
1 in 7 Americans went hungry in 2008, according to a new government report. The Department of Agriculture says that’s the highest rate of hunger in 14 years.
Forget the Hamptons, its all about Hamsters.
Do you love hamsters? Well if you REALLY love them, then perhaps you’d like the chance to live as one. A hotel in France is offering guests a chance to stay in its “Hamster Villa” for $148 a night. Guests will eat hamster grain, sleep in piles of hay, and yes, even have a life sized wheel to play in. Guess this is for the person who doesn’t want to escape the rat race.
