President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says he’s ready to cooperate with the U.S. and its allies over developing Iran’s nuclear program. A proposed deal drafted by the International Atomic Energy Agency would allow Iran to send uranium abroad to be enriched and then be used for medical research by the country. Ahmadinejad says the current plan is a “victory” for Iran.
The House of Representatives may vote on their version of a health care reform bill by next week. Controversial elements of the legislation include a tax on the rich, and a public option. The Senate version is still in committee. Both the House and the Senate must agree on a combined version of the bill before it can be signed into law by President Obama.
Are you a bad driver? Your genetics could be at fault. New research from the University of California- Irvine found that people with a certain gene variant performed 30% worse on a driving exam than people without the variant.
Early reviews for the Michael Jackson “This Is It” movie seem to be good. The movie pulled in $2.2 million during midnight showings on Tuesday, which is “unprecedented” according to movie experts. Viewers are saying “This Is It” is more akin to being a VIP backstage at a concert than watching a regular movie.
